Peninsula Web Care is run by Steve Kriz in Belmont, California. This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and what happens to it. The short version: I only use your information to reply to you and to improve this website, and I never sell it.

The contact form

When you send the form, I receive what you type in: your name, email address, website address, what you need help with, and your message. The form is delivered to my business email ([email protected]) using Google's services.

• How I use it: to reply to you, give you a website checkup or quote, and do any work you ask for.
• Who else sees it: no one, apart from Google, which runs my email. I don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
• How long I keep it: as long as we're in touch or working together, plus a reasonable time after for my records. Ask me and I'll delete it sooner.

If you email me directly instead of using the form, the same applies.

Website analytics

To understand how people find and use this site, so I can improve it, I use two analytics tools:

• Google Analytics records things like which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, roughly where visitors are (city or region), what device and browser they use, and how they arrived (for example, a Google search). It uses cookies. Google's data sharing and advertising features are turned off. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page speed without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.

I look at this information in summary form (for example, "how many people viewed the plans"). I don't use it to identify you.

Your choices

• Ask what information I have about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected].
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on above. The site works fine without them.

If you live in California, you have these rights under state privacy law too. I don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

Children

This website is for businesses and isn't meant for children under 13. I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this page changes, I'll update the date at the top.
